Hey,

Fantastic job on the widget. It's useful and simple. To echo Dan, don't change it too much! ...but I would agree that the suggestion to "rename the title (To-Do List) to something else" would be very useful. I currently use 4 instances of a dumber todo list to simulate the "four quadrant" system of time management (http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?FourQuadrants). By simply allowing renaming of your app, this sort of behavior can be allowed without unneeded bloating of your widget.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'd just like to say that this tool is great!

There are so many similar tools out there but many are ugly, too simple, too complicated etc. etc.

Your's has all the real important stuff:
. Add tasks easily
. Add sub tasks easily
. Reorder tasks easily
. Expand and contract lists easily
. A completed task is crossed out and made smaller when it is checked rather than being deleted (which many other apps do). Of course the option to delete the task if desired is also available :0)
. Print option - this is both simple and great!
. No limit on number of tasks
. Screen autosizes to display tasks
. Small and simple display of task priority
. Can add due date if desired but not required

There are only a couple of things that would be useful:
. Possiblity to create data backups (although of course we can currently print a hard copy)
. Possibility to add sub tasks to sub tasks (this is a minor point)
. Possibility to rename the title (To-Do List) to something else

Most importantly I would ask you NOT to change your application much because it is great as it is. I would hate to see you add lots of extra bells and whistles which could turn a great and simple app into a overcomplicated and bloated beast.

Well thanks again!

Never mind the above...it was related to my ISP hiccups. Everything is back.

Which leads me to another question. I had asked earlier about sharing data between the Sidebar gadget and iGoogle (and Net*mumble*) and you said that was an interesting idea.

It might be easier to have import/export capability - export from iGoogle and import into Sidebar, etc. I'd be happy with that, as I could then coordinate for when I don't have my laptop with me.

I love this tool! Thanks again!

Have you known Google to lose the to-do list?

My ISP is having issues today, and I'm getting a lot of reset by peers. Unfortunately, now the to-do list is all gone. I don't know if that's because of my ISP issues, or did Google refresh an empty list because of the ISP issues, or...

At least I have a printout that's about a week old this time...

Pac,
Not yet. If there is enough people asking for it, I will develop one.

Hello Mahin,
Thanks for your response...let me try to explain it a little bit better so you understand what I am looking for.

I have created main header task as the following:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Bills, Computer, Shopping, Emails/Phone Calls....then I created my tasks underneath them which are sub-tasks.

Now, I would like to separate the Monday-Sunday into one grouping and the others in another grouping. Essentially, there is a space in b/w the groups to show they are separate. This will allow me to focus on tasks on hand for those groupings.

Also, when I print I know where to look for my tasks. I would like to request an auto expand on all main tasks showing sub-tasks option.

Please allow for flexibility in printing in a smaller font size as my list gets bigger it will require more paper to print it out.

Hope this helps
