| Alert Voice Test
It is necessary to follow a few steps to make sure you can hear the alerts properly.

Click on the apporpriate sound file of your choice. Listen for a voice that should say "Hi !! Time to update your activity" in the language of your choice. You might have a slight flickering and sometimes it might take upto 30 seconds for you to hear anything. You may also be presented with dialog boxes from the appropriate media player. Ensure that you check "Donot show this again" for a seamless experience.

If YES, then you probably have the associations correct. BUT You might have to upgrade your media player. IMPORTANT: If you have QuickTime Player, it is necessary that you upgrade it to version 7.2. Otherwise it could crash Firefox browser. So please follow the UPGRADE instructions to upgrade your media player.
- If NO,
- Ensure that you donot have the volume on mute. Disable the mute and try it again.
- Ensure that you increase the voiume so you can hear the voice.
- If both the above steps donot help, then it is possible that the associations are not set correct. Read the Troubleshooting section to rectify the errors.
